Austin Oversized Microfiber Bedspread Coverlet Set

Had been on a mission to find a bedspread to top off my comforter. Had one I loved but it had become too cumbersome for me to handle anymore. I don’t “do” duvet covers, I only want a spread to finish off the bedroom look. Couldn’t find the right color, either. This was inexpensive and I really hesitated. I’m so glad I bought this. I have a full bed, but ordered a queen to be sure it would cover the best. Perfect size, it falls all the way to the floor, not half way down. And the colors are true to what’s on the monitor. It’s good-looking, the quilted design isn’t overpowering and it’s lightweight. It won’t keep you warm, if that’s what you need, but it does look nice, great colors, and washes and dries perfectly. I’m thinking of buying another color. I can see why it’s a best-seller.

I’ve bought four in different colors! We like huge bed covers because otherwise we fight over them, so these are perfect! It is king size and I wanted something that was long enough and wide enough to cover the bed frame. I finally gave up on comforters. I am very pleased. I have a pillow top mattress and box springs and It easily covers to the floor long way and from side to side covers the bed frame and is only short about 4 inches on either side to the floor. We wash our bedding every 3 or 4 days, so we just toss these in the machine. Even the king size fits in our standard washer and dryer. They come out wrinkle free. After six months of use they show almost no wear! Even though it looks thin, the weight is great — warm enough for winter, especially if we added a think throw blanket, but still light enough for summer. I bought brighter colors back in February for the spring and summer, and now I’m going to buy the darker colors for winter! The quilt pattern is just enough to add a nice little touch to hide dirt or wrinkles, but not so much that it clashes with patterns and prints.

I first purchased probably 4-5 years ago on Amazon and its enough for my everyday in Texas. During winter I add a comforter. I love this bedspread so much Im on my second set. Material is great, very resilient for having lasted me so long. Only the pillowcases on my first set were suffering after 4-5 years which is very understandable! The bedspread has held up completely, I just thought it was time for a fresh set and new color!

Color look true to pictures. Nicely over sized as my bed is very high and this covers it and then some. Sad that its not conventional stitching. The technique is pinsonic pressed which uses a heat press and this technique leaves holes and you can see the batting. I dont find that to be a big deal and its only noticeable up close. Its lightweight and wrinkle free. Also easy to wash. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

I don't like bed skirts so this bedspread hanging over the mattress was great. Plus it was simple.
